MU.LAB User License Agreement
This Software User License Agreement is made between You and MUTOOLS regarding the software application MU.LAB.
This Agreement is a legal document and You must carefully read it before using MU.LAB.
By using MU.LAB, You are confirming that You agree with the terms of This Agreement.
Section A: DEFINITIONS
"This Agreement" = This Software User License Agreement.
"MU.LAB" = MUTOOLS' software application called MU.LAB for playing, recording, creating and editing music, audio and MIDI. This includes all files contained in the MU.LAB zip package.
"MU.LAB FREE" = MU.LAB as it is installed from the original zip package i.e. without being unlocked by a MU.LAB User License Key (defined below in this section).
"MU.LAB XT User License Key" = A character string generated by MUTOOLS for You and You only starting with < (lower than character) and ending with > (greater than character) which can be used to unlock MU.LAB FREE so it upgrades its functionalities towards MU.LAB XT, as defined in the MU.LAB documentation.
"MU.LAB XT" = MU.LAB unlocked by a MU.LAB XT User License Key.
"MU.LAB UL User License Key" = A character string generated by MUTOOLS for You and You only starting with < (lower than character) and ending with > (greater than character) which can be used to unlock MU.LAB FREE or MU.LAB XT so it upgrades its functionalities towards MU.LAB UL, as defined in the MU.LAB documentation.
"MU.LAB UL" = MU.LAB unlocked by a MU.LAB UL User License Key.
"Your MU.LAB XT/UL" = MU.LAB unlocked by your personal MU.LAB XT respectively MU.LAB UL User License Key.
In This Agreement "MU.LAB" applies to MU.LAB FREE, MU.LAB XT and MU.LAB UL, otherwise the more specific definition is used. Similarly, "MU.LAB User License Key" applies to both MU.LAB XT User License Key and MU.LAB UL User License Key, otherwise the more specific definition is used.
Section B: GRANTING OF RIGHTS
You're allowed to install and use MU.LAB FREE on any computer on earth.
If You are a natural person and You own a MU.LAB User License Key, then You're allowed to run Your MU.LAB XT/UL (as defined by your MU.LAB User License Key) on any computer on earth on condition that You take care that no other person can use Your MU.LAB XT/UL, unless You and the other person are using Your MU.LAB XT/UL together in a single application process instance.
If You are a legal person and You own a MU.LAB User License Key, then You're allowed to indicate as many natural persons as You own MU.LAB User Licenses to run Your MU.LAB XT/UL (as defined by your MU.LAB User License Key) on any computer on earth on condition that You take care that no other person than the indicated person(s) can use Your MU.LAB XT/UL, unless the indicated person and the other person are using Your MU.LAB XT/UL together in a single application process instance.
Section C: LICENSE RESTRICTIONS
Your MU.LAB User License Key is strictly for You only.
You may not share, sell, give away, rent, lease or sublicense your MU.LAB User License Key.
You may not leave Your MU.LAB XT/UL on a computer on which other persons could use Your MU.LAB XT/UL outside the conditions described in section B.
In case You have finished using MU.LAB XT/UL on such computer, You must remove your MU.LAB User License Key or completely remove Your MU.LAB XT/UL from that computer.
You may not decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble MU.LAB.
You may not give away, rent, lease or sublicense MU.LAB.
You may not modify MU.LAB or create derivative works based upon MU.LAB.
This Agreement gives You limited rights to use MU.LAB.
Although You own the media on which MU.LAB is recorded, You do not become the owner of MU.LAB.
All rights not specifically granted in This Agreement are reserved by MUTOOLS.
Section D: DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
MU.LAB is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind either express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement or fitness for a particular purpose, all of which MUTOOLS specifically disclaims to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Use MU.LAB it at Your own risk.
MUTOOLS will not be liable for any data loss, damages, loss of profits or any other kind of loss while You're using MU.LAB.
MUTOOLS does not warrant that the functions contained in MU.LAB will meet Your requirements or that the operation of MU.LAB will be uninterrupted or error free.
Section E: JURISDICTION
This Agreement shall be subject to and construed in accordance with Belgian law and You and MUTOOLS hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Belgian Courts.
